Custom Script

A prepared script has fields you complete before the call. A name field, for example, puts the recipient’s name into the character’s lines. Each character decides which details are required.

A conversation in character

AI Intelligence

An AI character responds during the conversation rather than only playing a sequence of recordings. Where the setup offers a custom brief, you can give the character a situation to work with.

AI calls require paid Rings and are not included in the free call.

From preview to phone call

  1. Hear the character first

    Open a character page to see the premise, voice preview, expected duration and Ring cost. Think about the person receiving the call: the best character is the one whose humour they will appreciate.

  2. Sign in and complete your account

    Sign in to get a call quote. Complete any account checks shown before calling. PrankCall.app is for adults aged 18 and over, calling adults they know personally.

  3. Set the scene and check the number

    Enter the recipient’s country and phone number, your relationship and any character-specific required fields. Public calling is UK-first; the country selector and number check show what is available for your chosen character. Read the confirmed number and quote before placing the call.

  4. Start the call, then find the replay

    Confirm the call when the setup is ready. The call page shows its status. If a recording is available after the call, find it in Your calls. Processing can take time; a completed call and a ready replay are separate states.

A funny reaction is not automatically a public clip

Recording choices are shown during setup. Recordings are private by default. Public sharing requires the recipient’s recorded consent and a publication review; making the call does not automatically put the reaction on the website.

Before you make your first prank call

Is the first prank call free?
An eligible account gets 1 introductory call for a pre-recorded Scripted character. It is a lifetime allowance per account, separate from Rings. Your remaining allowance appears in your account and call quote.
What are Rings?
Rings are the app’s call tokens. AI characters require paid Rings. See your balance and Ring packs; the setup quotes the actual cost before you confirm a call.
Can I put a name into the prank?
Choose a Custom Script character with a name field. Fill in the requested details on its setup page. Fields vary by character, so check the page rather than assuming every script supports the same customisation.
Who should I call?
An adult you know personally and genuinely expect to find it funny. Avoid someone who is stressed or unlikely to enjoy the joke. Respect a request to stop and do not turn one prank into repeated unwanted calls.
